SHORT STORY COMPETITION FOR
CHILDREN AND ADULTS
Two categories :
Category A - For writers aged between 11 - 15 years ( Up to 500 words)
Category B - For adults from 16 and beyond! ( Up to 1,000 words)
We are looking for short stories of up to 500 words in Category A and a 1,000 words in Category B.
Your story should be loosely based around the theme of Ufford and its magnificent environment of birds, flowers, the water-meadows and the river.
The Winner in each category will receive a book token of up to £25 and the winning entry in both categories will be published in the Ufford Punch edition in January, 2019.
* We are running Creative Writing workshops on both days of the Ufford Arts Festival (15th-16th September) so why not come along then & seek help and advice from our Writing Advisor in preparation for the Competition.
How to enter

Your story must be original, all of your own work and should not have won another competition.
Date for submission
Your story must reach us by October 12th, 2018.
The judges are (yet to be confirmed)
The judges' decisions are final and correspondence will not be entered into.
